Who is a Candidate?

Who is a candidate for the Rice Diet? By now you should know that it is anyone who is significantly overweight, with or without accompanying medical problems. The medical conditions and symptoms that can be treated are listed in the introduction. Usually, weight loss goals range from 30 to more than 100 lbs. The maximum weight of a new or returning patient cannot exceed 325 lbs. If you are slightly over this upper limit (or are very tall) kindly contact us to explain your specific situation. To be able to make this a worthwhile experience, all patients will need to be able to walk at least half a mile initially without chest pain, leg pain, or the need for external aid, i.e. cane, walker, wheelchair, etc.

Only patients over age 18 years old will be accepted into the program.
