Sample Schedule

This is a preview of a day in the Rice Diet of Central Florida. This schedule is liable to change, but represents an approximation of what can be expected.

7:30am-9:00am: Medical check-in, weight, blood pressure, and then Breakfast.
9:00am-10:00am: Lecture on diet related issues.
10:00am-10:30am: Exercise (low impact exercises), tai chi, other demonstrations.
10:30am-11:30am: Exercise/walking time/free time.
11:30am-1:00pm: Lunch.
1:00pm-2:00pm: Questions/complaints/suggestions…answer sessions a few times a week.
2:00pm-2:30pm: Relaxation techniques, discussing obesity related social issues, the role of stress in emotional overeating.
2:30pm-5:00pm: Walking/exercise/reading/meditating/free time.
5:00pm-6:30pm: Dinner.
6:30pm and after: Walking/evening entertainment/diary input/computer time/relaxation, etc.
