Costs

The Rice Diet fees are as follows:

First week= $1650.00
Each week thereafter:  $1050.00

Program fees are payable at the beginning of the program session. These fees pay for all evaluations, recommendations, daily classes, lectures, activities, 21 meals per week, and all handout materials. At the end of the program session, each patient will receive a medical record summary including before and after photos, and a graph of their progress of weight loss, lab values etc.

Program fees are not covered by insurance or Medicare.

All laboratory tests required before and during the program, x-rays, or any other required testing will most likely be covered by medical insurance plans and Medicare. If those tests are not covered for any reason, they are the sole responsibility of the patient and are not covered by the costs of the program. Initial required blood and urine testing may be done at a local (home) lab through your primary physician within 1 week of the start of the Rice Diet. Those reports must be hand carried to us to begin the program. If you prefer, the lab work can be done on the first day of the program at a local lab, our office will make the necessary arrangements for you.

During your time on the Rice Diet program, follow up blood work and weekly urine analysis will be routinely required. These may be covered by your medical insurance, but if not, they will be your responsibility, and are not already covered by the costs of the program.

Any additional medical consultations, labs, or x-rays required, or other medical care not directly related to the program, is not included in the above fees, and will be additional charges.
